Axel finally managed to shake off his "Cargo de nuit" image at the end of the 90s and his latest album proves his worth as a genuinely talented singer-songwriter. Born in Paris on 7 April 1961, Axel Bauer grew up in a talented musical family, which included a classical concert pianist (his aunt) and a professional jazz musician (his father).
